The Team

Rich Gipstein

Principal

Rich Gipstein is an entrepreneurial attorney and investor. Rich manages the investment portfolios of several real estate limited partnerships, a private mortgage lending business, and a small business financing fund, all operating in New York City. Prior to co-founding Cherry Creek Capital, Rich has previous experience sourcing, funding, and managing numerous real estate projects in New York City. Rich also previously worked as a tax attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, specializing in structuring complex international private equity transactions. Rich received an A.B. in Physics & Chemistry from Harvard College, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and an M.S. in theoretical particle physics from New York University.

Will Braunstein

Principal

Will Braunstein is a serial entrepreneur and investor. Prior to co-founding Cherry Creek Capital, Will co-founded and led multiple companies, including USA Rx, a market-drive discount on prescription medications, CastleWave, a full service strategy consultancy and interactive agency (acquired in 2008 by Imergent, a public company based in Utah), and UrbanMaidGreen, an eco-friendly cleaning service which won NY Magazine’s cleaning company of the year award (acquired in 2011 by a private investor). Will also has experience investing in multi-family and student housing developments in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Colorado. Will received a B.A. in Political Science and Economics at the University of Rochester.
